Our kitchen director Christian Hirsch and his team spoil their guests with fine and creative cuisine. The menu is full of surprises, delicious flavour combinations and unexpected twists – goulash with king oyster mushrooms or teriyaki chilli salmon. Let us surprise you.
We are happy to cook vegetarian food for you on request – just ask and we will recommend a dish. In addition, our restaurant and hotel bar offer a selection of wines, aperitifs, and digestifs.

Restaurant 5:30 – 10:00 pm (warm food is served until 9:00 pm) As a guest in our house you get a 10% discount on your dinner.
Bar 5:30 – 11:00 pm (closed on Sundays)
Please note: Dogs are only allowed in the outdoor area of our restaurant.
Start your day with a healthy, nutritious, and delicious breakfast. Our daily buffet, which is available for non-hotel guests too, offers a generous selection of breakfast foods. For €15 per person you can chose from a spread of fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and muesli, crispy bread rolls, honey and various jams as well as a selection of sausages and cheese. Alongside this, we offer freshly prepared eggs to your liking and unlimited coffee, tea, and juice.
Early risers can also enjoy breakfast from 6 am to 6.30 am. For €9.50 per person, you can help yourself to a slightly smaller buffet without hot dishes.
It is my mission to ensure we cook with local and seasonal products. While we strive to experiment with new flavour pairings and add creative modifications to our dishes, we always aim to reflect the seasons and the region in our culinary offers.
Located in the historic walls of the Wittenberg Luther House, our “von Bora” restaurant is set in the same location where Martin Luther once dined. Incorporating regional and fresh produce, our menu offers a Mediterranean spin of modern German cuisine. To complete this culinary experience, we offer an exclusive selection of fine wines. You are welcome to enjoy your meals either indoors or, weather permitting, on our large sun terrace.
