Holidays with children at the Baltic Sea in martas guesthouses Zingsthof
Family-friendly holiday resort close to nature
Endless beaches and a unique, almost untouched natural landscape. Martas guesthouses Zingsthof are just a few minutes' walk from the sea. Perfect for letting your thoughts fly free. Founded in 1929 by the Westphalian Student Bible Circles, the Zingsthof served as a refuge for the seminary of the Confessing Church under the leadership of Dietrich Bonhoeffer during the Second World War. Today, it is one of the most important places in Pomeranian church history in the pre- and post-war period.

A carefree holiday feeling in a relaxed atmosphere. We also want to make this possible for people who have a harder time than others and whose dream of a summer holdiday by the sea may already be a distant memory.
We want to preserve and maintain the Zingsthof, a green oasis. People from the big cities in particular are looking for rest, relaxation and tranquillity in rural areas - and we can offer them this. As a house of the Berlin City Mission, we are aware of our responsibility with regard to sustainability and strive to improve ourselves in both small and large ways.
You can find information on our sustainability measures in our report.
Feeling good and doing good: From Lutherstadt Wittenberg to Berlin, Brandenburg and up to the Baltic Sea. Our name, martas, references the biblical figure Marta, who was a passionate hostess to all her guests, including Jesus. At martas, we strive to mirror Marta’s loving attention to detail and passion.
As part of the Berlin City Mission, we support their charitable projects and vouch to house those in need of a place to rest, relax and recuperate. Martas accommodation includes city hotels, countryside guesthouses, and hostels.
