Just outside Berlin, around 60 kilometres north-east of the capital, lies martas guesthouses Groß Väter See in the middle of an extensive UNESCO biosphere reserve. The 32 holiday and group homes in Schorfheide offer numerous accommodation options and welcome young and old to spend a holiday by the lake in Brandenburg. These include five barrier-free accommodations and two group houses, as well as 10 conference and seminar rooms for up to 200 people.
A team ropes course, a yoga room and a wellness area with two saunas ensure relaxation and a good mood in our holiday park by the lake. Martas guesthouses Groß Väter See are equipped for family holidays as well as for school classes, leisure activities, conferences and team events. We also offer our young and old guests exciting educational and leisure programmes.
Martas holiday and group houses are located in the centre of a UNESCO biosphere reserve surrounded by woodlands and lakes. We look forward to welcoming you in one of our 33 guesthouses, five of which have barrier-free access, or in one of our two large group houses.
It’s always nice to see the influence of nature on people’s minds and wellbeing. Many of our guests are stressed and tense when they first arrive, but, within a few hours of arriving, you can literally watch as they completely transform, relax, and fully unwind.
Martas cafeteria offers regional, seasonal, and delicious meals. Accommodating up to 175 people, we provide a savoury all-you-can-eat breakfast, balanced lunch and dinner options and a selection of fairtrade drinks. We offer both meat and vegetarian lunch options. To avoid long waiting times, our mealtimes are split into two run throughs.
Groups of children and young adults up to the age of 26 on educational trips receive full board. People traveling alone, families and other groups can choose between half and full board options.
Whether you are hosting a private celebration, a company party, a conference or a teambuilding activity, martas event venues Groß Väter See offer an ideal and versatile location for your gathering. Our ten conference and seminar rooms are fitted with modern technology and provide space for up to 200 guests. The majority of our rooms are equipped with either a piano, an electric piano or a grand piano – ideal for orchestra trips. Additionally, we offer catering services or a buffet style meal and free parking for you and your guests.
