They comprise two buildings with a total of 118 rooms, including ten barrier-free as well as well-equipped meeting rooms. Ideally suited for school classes, group trips, families with children, individual travelers and backpackers.

The guesthouses are located on park-like grounds in a quiet residential area. This gives you the opportunity to relax on the terrace, in the garden or in the lounge after an exciting discovery tour of the city. A good place for those who like it simple, comfortable and quiet.

A holiday for everyone (Reisen für Alle)

The martas Guesthouses at the main station were awarded the certificate “Barrier-free tested” in the category “partially barrier-free” by the label “Reisen für alle“. This applies to people with different physical limitations. Among them are wheelchair users, blind people, deaf people and people with walking and visual disabilities. The entrance and the reception of our house are accessible via a wide ramp. In front of the house are two designated disabled parking spaces, available free of charge. The rooms can be reached at ground level or by elevator.

Under a green roof, in the middle of a park and only a few minutes from the main train station you find martas Guesthouses. We see it as our ecological and societal responsibility to live under the sign of climate protection. Therefore, sustainability is very important to us.

One step is the daily preparation of vegetarian and vegan meals in the Kiezkantine. Our drinks are fairly traded or come in reusable bottles from around the region. Disposable bottles are only offered if they can be recycled and reused. Waste separation carts are also available for our guests. Our guesthouses are “Bett+Bike” certified – cyclists are warmly welcome.

Being active in a guesthouse influenced by Christianity and supporting social projects fills us with great joy. It gives meaning to our work and simply feels right.

Our name, martas, references the biblical figure Marta, who was a passionate hostess to all her guests, including Jesus. At martas, we strive to mirror Marta’s loving attention to detail and passion.

As part of the Berlin City Mission, we support their charitable projects and vouch to house those in need of a place to rest, relax and recuperate. Martas accommodation includes city hotels, countryside guesthouses, and hostels.
